the problem is that we are late.中that为什么不能换成what,可以讲一些基本的句子成分吗?
比如定语从句中where which of which 等的区别,我觉得对基本句型掌握的不太好,还有对一些with 复合结构不明白,比如:with his interest in studes almost _是用lost还是being lost?对及物不及物动词怎么看呢?
能不能讲一下aim的用法,the boy,aiming at winning champion,这儿用ing形式,为什么在the project,aimed at,,,中就使用ed了呢

1,that相当于古汉语中的“之”字,没有意义,只起到一个引导作用,且不再从句中做句子成分.表示后边将是一个从句.what相当于古汉语中的“所.的”,起到双重作用,既引导从句,又在从句中起名词的作用,作主语,表语,宾语.因此上面的句子we are late,是完整的不缺成分,不能用what;
2,定语从句中的引导词要分清他们在从句中的作用,如:which代替“物”,又在定语从句中做主语或宾语,where指代前边先行词地点,又在从句中做地点状语.
The house that/which he looked for is near the river.(that/which做look for 的宾语)
The house where he lived in near the river.( he lived 缺地点状语)live 不及物动词,只能接状语.
The house ,the windows of which face the street ,belongs to an old man.(which代替前边的house)房子的窗子.
3,with his interest in studes almost _是用lost,假定把interest看做逻辑主语,兴趣是被丧失,丢失,所以用lost,表示已经丧失,结果一完成.而being lost 正在被丢失说不通.这是一种用“介词+名词+动词+其他成分”独立结构.判断这个名词和动词之间的动宾关系主动被动来决定用ed 形式还是ing.形式.
如:
The man came in,with a book held under his arm.(书被夹).
The teacher entered the classroom,with his eyes looking at all of us(眼睛看着我们)眼睛看而不是“被看”,所以用ing,
4.学单词之初就得连同vt.及物vi不及物一起记住,不过有的词还是很容易判断是否带宾语;不能带的就是不及物动词.如:
He is walking on the road.(不及物).
I lost a pen..(lost及物,带宾语a book).
They are walking the dog.(遛狗).不是“走狗”,walk 带了宾语dog.

再答: the boy,aiming at winning champion,这儿用ing形式,相当于who aimes/aimed at winning champion ,这里the boy 是aim at 的动作执行者,表示主动,所以用ing形式; 为什么在the project,aimed at,,,中就使用ed了 The peoject (which/that) is aimed at;项目; 是被以......为目标,所以用 ed 表示被动。 这个和上面的独立结构有所不同。
